Once installed, the lights will be mostly hidden during the daylight. The jumps between roof sections will have wires protectved by a UV resistant sheath. Our professional installers will create a plan that minimizes the visibility of these jumps and tuck them into inconspicuous spots so there will be no drooping wires.
Our lighting system will completely match your soffits and gutters. We will colour match your existing exterior and custom form the pieces to assemble our Gemstone lights into the track. The track is tucked under the soffit and hidden from view until the lights are turned on.
Using LED lights greatly reduces the amount of energy required to power the system. The actual wattage depends on the colours you use and the intensity of the lights, but we estimate between 0.17 watts - 0.72 watts per light. Our unique controller allows you to choose between brilliant and ambient.
Our lights are efficient and safe, converting your 110v house power to safe 12v power. We are one of the few systems that have been approved by the Canadian Standards Association to be sold and installed here in Canada and North America.
Because we use energy efficient LED lights, they are estimated to last 50,000 hours. For example, if you use your lights at full power for 6 hours every day, they should last approximately 20+ years.
We all have memories of trying to find the bad bulb on the strand of Christmas lights. Fortunately, that is behind you! Our Gemstone bulbs are individually connected and controlled and can easily be replaced.
Changing a light is extremely simple. By removing a couple of screws, the track is bent down slightly, the light is snapped out, connections are undone and then a new light is snapped in and connections are redone. LED strip lights typically lead to replacing full sections which can be costly. Our system allows the issue to be isolated and changed out very quickly which means these individually connected bulbs can protect your initial investment.

Our installation is completely discreet with the track colour-matched to the soffit or fascia. The track is permanently fastened to the soffit by sliding the one side of the track under the L-trim of the fascia and inserting a color matched screw in the other side. We can also use a backtrack if the structure has deep fascia. This allows the track to be mounted on the back side of the fascia so the lights are flush with the bottom.
The lights are protected from any wind, rain, and hail because of their discreet location. This eliminates unsightly wires and replacing strands damaged by wild weather.
Each Gemstone Light system we install is cleverly hidden behind the soffit or fascia but colour-matched to ensure it's completely incognito! The tracks point the lights downward which gives a wonderful ambient effect. Our professional team will ensure all corners are tight and continue to flow on the track, displaying the lights in a symmetrical pattern.

Safety is an important consideration and when it comes to your home, you want to ensure you are using top rated products. We are ETL certified in the USA and Canada. Many low voltage lighting companies will falsely claim low voltage lights don’t require proper CSA approvals. That is not true and as a consumer, you need to look for the ETL stamp of approval.

Our Gemstone Lights system uses RGBW LEDs which means the coloured light is created using varying degrees of Red, Green and Blue. Our proprietary app allows you to create 3 different whites using these bulbs - cool, bright and warm. However, it can be difficult to get a natural looking warm or incandescent white through the RGB bulbs. For this reason, we added a 4th stand-alone 2800k warm white bulb, providing perfectly warm ambient light any time.
Our systems are built to withstand the tough physical elements of the outdoors. Each light and connection have an IP 67 Waterproof rating and can operate in -40º Celsius to +80º Celsius. All wires and connections will withstand sun exposure as they are UV rated. The track is extremely durable powder coated aluminum which is unlikely to rust or degrade.

Yes, we offer a variety of options to suit most building exteriors. If the building has an aluminum parapet cap, the backtrack is adjusted slightly and mounted directly against the face of the cap. The bottom edge will slide under the outside angle of the cap for a seamless installation. Our lighting tracks can also be face-mounted on any flat surface such as a wall or fence.
